On a human level it is a shame to see a government un-prepared for such human disaster.

AlJazeera reporter in the youtube video below states that the Turkish army is only 200 kilometers away from the affected area engaging the pkk and then asks where is the Turkish army to assist the victims? Furthermore, the poor kurdish people in that area seem to have no shovels to dig victims out. Isnt this why the pkk exists?

270 dead is the latest figure. A tragedy for those involved for sure. But not as bad as some reports are suggesting.
