For those who have unwanted Private messages, possibly from those with PMT, (or Private Message Tantrum) it is possible to block individual users from sending you private messages.

That way one can at least ensure the undesirebles cannot pester one, leaving the PM facility available to get messages from those you are happy to nget them from.

I have been a victim of PMT, so deactivated PMs altogether. But obviously I would be happy to receive PMs from those that don't suffer from PMT.
