And today, the Turkish foreign ministry officially requested aid from Israel. Idiots. Had they immediately accepted the aid when it was offered, more people undoubtedly would have been rescued.

Unbelievable!

Israel to Assist Turkey with Quake Relief

Two days after an earthquake hit Turkey, Turkish officials have taken Israel up on an offer of help made shortly after the disaster struck. Officials asked for portable housing for the many left homeless.

The IDF and Foreign Ministry are working to bring the aid to Turkey.

More than 430 people were killed in the earthquake, and officials believe that number will rise as more bodies are found. Hundreds are still missing, and more than 1,300 were injured.

Why should there be any aid to Turkey?

Erdogan the clown was threatening and provoking everyone in the region while Turkish citizens were cheering them on in mass media!

The Turks must be punished with complete isolation and a boot out the EU.

Turkey needs to understand her place in the regional pecking order as they are just a bunch of illiterate 3rd world peasants and there they shall remain.

Actually, I disagree.

Greece and Israel did the right thing to offer aid. There are thousands of innocent victims here, and what Greece and Israel did was honorable, indicating that both are far more compassionate and civil amidst the devastation. Besides, it was expected that Turkey would decline anyway.

Most of the victims are probably kurds anyway, not that this should make any difference.

agree, this is a humanitarian issue not a political one.

Cyprus should definitely have offered assistance. We're not in the same class as the T***k when it comes to human empathy towards enemies.
Its a Christian virtue.

No, I don't think Cyprus should offer any assistance, because it just CAN'T. They occupy our island and do not recognise the RoC, so a line needs to drawn.

It would be silly if the RoC offered assistance to a nation it is at war with.
