It is this Andreas Koumi that has on several occasions posted addresses on this forum for people to meet him in order to act the tough guy, especially if anyone dares to say any kind words about Greece. Not forgetting that Greece is still Cyprus' biggest supporter. Bear in mind that this Mr Koumi has made plenty of money out of Greeks in the past with his book "The Cypriot" (possibly amongst others). He did not mind taking their money did he? This Andreas Koumi then did the same on this thread, posting an address in London for me to meet him, and I was waiting for it. Well, here, he has found someone willing. Then you decided to jump in and defend your Mommy, highlighting that you would like to attend also and give me "a good spanking". You see, the only Keyboard Warriors here are you and him. Το πρόβλημα, λένε, είναι ότι ο λαός αποτελείται από “Ελληνες” και “Τούρκους” (τα εισαγωγικά δικά τους) και όχι από Κυπρίους μόνο. Κατηγορούν, μάλιστα, στο κείμενο, τους Ελληνοκύπριους και τους Τουρκοκύπριους ότι προωθούν τα συμφέροντα των “μητέρων πατρίδων” και τα συμφέροντα της κάθε κοινότητας εις βάρος της άλλης!!!

Έτσι αντιλαμβάνονται το Κυπριακό πρόβλημα οι ιδρυτές της οργάνωσης. Γι’ αυτό, ανακοινώνουν, είναι περήφανοι για την κυπριακή τους ταυτότητα και δεν θέλουν ν’ ακούσουν ο,τιδήποτε άλλο. Ελληνες στην Κύπρο δεν υπάρχουν, αλλά ούτε και Τούρκοι γι’ αυτούς.

Πίσω από την ίδρυση της οργάνωσης αυτής είναι η γνωστή φιλότουρκη Γραμματέας των “Friends of Cyprus” Μαίρη Σάουθκοτ, με πρωτεργάτες τον Ανδρέα Κουμή και τον Alkan Chaglar. Είναι φανερό ότι οι προσπάθειες αυτές θα πέσουν στο κενό, όπως και τόσες άλλες στο παρελθόν, που επιχείρησαν τύποι περιθωριακοί. Μπορεί να δηλητηριάζουν προσωρινά τον αγώνα μας, αλλά είναι σίγουρο ότι θα χαθούν.

Μέσα σ’ αυτά τα πλαίσια έγινε και η προσπάθεια να προωθηθούν στην αγγλική γλώσσα παραδοσιακά τραγούδια της Κύπρου, ώστε να μην έχουν καμιά σχέση με την ελληνική γλώσσα.

Both Greece and Turkey is a constant nuisance to Cyprus and the sooner they go down the better. Greece is well and truly fucked and now its Turkey’s turn with her credit bubble about to burst just around the corner. :wink:
