Our Israeli friends have been working hard on this one. Personally, I don't think we need scriptural proof that Turkey has had a ruinous effect on Cyprus and successive regimes in Ankara need to be tried for war crimes. There's not much doubt either that Erdogan and Davutoglu are crazed buffoons who, with any luck, will take Turkey down with their mad Ottoman fantasies.

I commented on this paragraph but it was removed!

I basically reminded the author that foot soldiers don’t count for much in this day and age and that for real superpowers like Germany, France, and the UK, a 3rd world foe like Turkey would be a one-bomb country!

But people who have no understanding of what constitutes “military might” tend to put a lot of weight on NUMBERS like number of soldiers with no consideration of how many are well trained and equipped, or number of tanks with no consideration of how many are the latest technology and actually work, and so forth!

For example, Turkey may have 5,000 tanks but only 300 of those are German Leopard’s (export version) whereas Germany’s 500 tanks are ALL classified version of the latest Leopard! So numbers alone are very misleading on which the author bases a lot of their theories.
