Hello -

I'm fairly new to Cyprus....been here since July. What restaurant do you recommend in the Limmassol area? My favs so far are Chester's and Nando's.

Prefer a casual not too fancy type place - and not a big fan of seafood.

I've heard Little Plates is good and has a great meze (haven't tried a meze yet). Also heard good things about a Bunch of Grapes in Pissouri.

Taurus Steak does good stake. If by "Little Plates" you mean "Ta Piatakia" that one is good also, but make your reservation early as it is often full. There are too many other places to write in a post. If you want a specific kind of restaurant ask

Thanks for the links and recommendations. I tried out Ta Piatakia or "Little Plates" this weekend. Very good. My only complaint is that the meze is too much food! I'll definetly return, but will order from the menu vs doing the meze again.

Check out Artima. Excellent food, (try the Golden Pun) reasonably priced, and nice atmosphere.

For Italian I would reccomend

(1) Il Gusto , Akrotiri - One of the best italian in Limassol
(2) La Boca , Columbia Plaza - Open kitcjen is plus, so if you know what you want, this is best place (Don't forget to get your 15% discount on AMEX on weekdays)
(3) Old City Pizza , Old City Area - Small restaurant but amazingly good pizza and pasta
