Kurupetos good morning

May I ask what it is about homosexuality that you find so abhorent? I have seen your previous comments on the topic and the insinuation that bill may be gay used as a derogatory term. I am trying understand this strong feeling Cypriots seem to have about gay people.

Well, whilst one or two of the shallow-minded above have swallowed Turkish Propaganda about paedophilia...

According to Ataturk's biographer, Ataturk was a pedophile and an active sodomiser of young boys. As well as an alcoholic. You'd think the occupation authorities in the north would be more sensitive to those who follow in Ataturk's ways. After all, there are statues of Ataturk all over the occupied areas.

The act of a man coming into physical contact with another man is what we find abhorrent Humanist. We are repelled by other male bodies and want nothing to do with them other than the odd slap on the back of friends! (not their backside btw)

Sexual arousal comes from our biologically pre-programmed minds but we understand that sometimes some people have “short circuits”; the neurons (nerve cells) in one’s brain may not always develop and/or function correctly (the existence of incorrect nerve connections and/or incorrect levels of electrical current traveling through one or more of them), and if that happens in the region of the brain that determines sexuality then homosexuality or some other form of non-standard sexual arousal may occur.

I’m pretty sure that one day when neuron surgery advances it will be a correctable minor laser surgery.

An EU legislator urged the leader of Cyprus’ breakaway Turkish north on Thursday to repeal an anti-gay law that led to the arrest of a former Greek Cypriot Cabinet minister. Lawmaker Marina Yannakoudakis raised the issue during a meeting with Turkish Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglu, and a top government official said Eroglu agreed that the law should be scrapped...

It seems the EU are insisting that the "trnc" adopt EU law. And Eroglu agrees. An interesting precedent. No doubt the EU will be equally implacable in laying down EU law in the "trnc" when it comes to negotiating any future settlement. After all, the human rights of Greek Cypriots as EU citizens are just as valid as the rights of homosexuals.

The Sarris debacle isn’t about homosexuality but about a Cypriot politician who saw fit to cross to the illegally occupied territory of Cyprus to engage in pedophilia!

Sarris’ actions are treasonous to the nation and criminal to humanity!

Erm... have been asked to declare whether am gay or not ... and it' a question that I refuse to answer cos it's a divisive question, a question that seeks to put people in to categories of the Straight or Gay type and of the Jew or Arian type of the Them or Us type, of the They Live and They Die sort, a question that seems a trivial and joking one to ask but the Road to the Gas Chambers, to the Medical Facilities that GR is advocating has to start with a single, seemingly jokingly and innocent small step with that question... and even that small step is a step too far. We should all have learnt this from history.

So where to stand in all this, and it's understandable that some may not be comfortable in this very personal business, and there's the point that this is a very personal business.

... So can only urge you all to think that if GR and Kurupetos or Sarris or anybody else choose to go around shagging each other or liaising with consenting goats, or if they chose heterosexual relationships, then support their right to do so, they have every right to make their own very personal choices... and they shouldn't get any questions about it and cert not any criticism about it... cos they have every right to do what they want with their bodies.
