Work for a singer

Postby topboxer » Mon Oct 17, 2011 5:45 pm

Hi guys, i'm new to this forum and i'd like to pick your brains.
I'm a singer, currently working several bars in Fuerteventura.
I have recently thought about relocating to Cyprus and i'd like to know where I would most likely get some work....if at all !
I am very versatile, doing mostly 60s, 70s stuff that appeals to middle aged Brits.
I get a pension, so don't need to work more than 3 nights a week......any advice, tips will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry, lost track of the thread !
Did you mean that I would get work in Paphos....and who or what is Kafenes ?
What is the going rate for entertainers ?
I'm thinking of coming over to do a reccie.....where else should I consider apart from Paphos ?
I know there will be competition, but I was told the same when I got to Fuerteventura and now I could work 7 nights a week here if I wanted to !
