I am really puzzled why the GC side does not answer the tiresome and continuous allegations and complains of Erdogan about the accession of CY to the EU prior to a solution.

Somebody has to remind and keep reminding him, the TCs, and everybody else, that it was Denktash, with the support of Erdogan and Gul, who firstly rejected the Annan Plan (version II) on the 12th of December 2002, during the EU Summit in Copenhagen, while Clerides and Kasoulides had gone there to sign it. EU realized then that the Turkish side was stalling simply to prevent CY from getting a date of accession with the excuse that a solution should be reached first. That is the reason why the EU representatives went crazy and gave to CY its accession date for May 2004, solution or no solution.

In other words, Denktash, Erdogan and Gul, saved CY from that monstrous “solution” in 2002 while the GCs and Papadopoulos repeated the same achievement in 2004.

So, to shut them up once and for all, I suggest we erect the statues of the 3 of them (Denktash, Erdogan and Gul) in the center of Nicosia and write at its base: OUR FATHERLAND IN GRATITUDE (H PATRIS EVGNOMONOUSA) and further below the inscription should be explaining how these 3 grate heroes of CY saved the ROC from being eliminated and from turning into a protectorate of Turkey to the North and the of the UK to the South.

They cannot see more than two moves ahead let alone remembering the two moves they had previously made.

I concerns me that these two plonkers had actually gone to sign it. Says more about our level of politicians than the pathetic turks.

Just imagine the damage that would have been done, if these crooks had actually managed to sign.FFS.
