Ex Minister Michalakis Sarris arrested at TRNC

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Yes, live and let live people.

But on another matter, I can't help but have an eery feeling that Sarris might have been set up (framed) by the regime, given his position and standing. I could be wrong of course, but such things are not beyond the regime as we all very well know.

Other than that, Sarris is an embarrassment to Cyprus, as he displayed poor judgement and a lack of integrity given the high office he was entrusted with in representing the RoC.

But that is also another matter entirely as opposed to the gross violations of Human Rights.

You mean EXPOSED not framed!

Nobody planted a gay Turkish boy at his house but he went out to find THEM in the occupied territory!

The problem with you, BillC, Zoc, and others of the confused Charlie clan, is that your sense of judgment STINKS although I’m sure you think otherwise!

You are so blinded by an opportunistic cheap shot at the “TRNC” that you’ve completely overlooked our own mess, when you should’ve been grateful that they exposed this clown so that we may weed out our bad apples from our government!

No I definitely mean framed as in set up.

Look, I hate this Government as much as you do. They have proven to be a bunch of incompetent clowns unfit for the office they were elected for by the people.

I also condemn Sarris for his actions, lack of judgement and integrity.

However, the jury is still out as to exactly what has happened. I am not going to rush and judge this man based on the word of the regime and its illegal "justice system". I prefer to wait and hear the other side of the story, once Sarris is able to offer his version.

But once again, you seem to have difficulty in separating this issue from gross Human Rights violations by the regime. As far as I am concerned, any international condemnation that raises awareness about Cyprus and the illegal occupation is a good thing, even if such awareness is sparked within civil liberties groups and the gay and lesbian communities of Western Europe and North America.

The €47,000 bail money to be earned by the occupation regime is a lot more than Sarris would’ve ever spent there in 20 years so I sure hope they’ll continue exposing and jailing all the clowns that see fit to go there and engage in gambling and prostitution.

So there you go “TRNC”, a great income earner for you and you’d be doing something right for once!

I'm not the peasant Zoc because after all I’m the one opening your eyes!

The peasants are those who went to the UK and despite being exposed to so much more of the world for all these decades, they still have the intellect, cunning, and foresight of the common Cypriot field mouse!

Nobody yet but Sarris claims he'll attend but I very much doubt he has the balls to confront homosexual charges in a Muslim court!

Nobody in the right mind would anyway.

Well, as a person who was elected to high office, I would hope he doesn't attend this so called illegal court. That would be disgraceful, and indicates that he recognizes and acknowledges the illegal setup and the regime itself.

Shameful.....

And yes, you are a stubborn peasant who needs to grow up a little or evolve into the 21st century. I don't want to talk about you alone, because it seems that many Cypriots need to do the same. And with this mentality, you do deserve the political representatives you get, because in other countries, there are openly gay politicians, because homosexuality is not so much a taboo subject like it is in Cyprus.

The occupation regime is illegal at its very root, so it’s pointless to complain about gay & lesbian rights there!

You guys need to get your priorities right because the problem is not bad “TRNC” laws (being an illegal entity they are expected) but our corrupt and incompetent politicians who expose and humiliate us!
