There have been some comments here and there. Actually the only one who was very active was VP, who disappeared from the forum so suddenly that makes me think that probably VP died. I opened a topic here cyprus35475-10.html.

Other than that The kibrisli participation was always low, it just became lower by some input from AWE, and halil. Kikapu usually replies to Kibrislis, there is nothing for him to reply I think. And Deniz left because he did not like bad language (he said) but I think he got tired.

Anyway, in one of my posts on the matter I said that after the new development with the gas reserves the Kibrislis lost all hope for a solution as they expected it. So why participate, would you participate if you were in their position?

Hi Pyro,

I'm on a R&R in California, doing some sailing and a lot of good food eating! :D

If anything bad happened to VP, I'm sure we would have heard about it from couple of Cyprus Forum members, a TC and a GC, whom I know from VP's posts as to they being friends of VP. So far they have not said anything. I think VP has left because she has been exposed as being a female, which she has tried very hard to keep it a secret. She does not want to burn all her bridges with the RoC with her propagandist and partitionist views, all said while pretending to be a male. As for the rest of other TCs staying away, there are no conspiracies, but they realising that they have been trying to defend the indefensible by supporting anything and everything Turkey and the "trnc", specially now that there is a potential Gas wealth for all Cypriots under the umbrella of the RoC. I think most of them feel that they will be ridiculed by the GC members for the views that they have/had. It is already bad enough for them to face the embarrassment for them being made fools of by the "trnc" and Turkey for the last 37 years with false promises. The discovery of Gas is going to be a game changer in Cyprus and only the fool TCs in the "trnc" will continue to back the partitionist ideology imposed on them by Turkey and their corrupted puppet leaders. No wonder Turkey and the "trnc" are running around like chickens with their heads cut off to make believe that they will find their own oil and Gas for the TCs around Cyprus to try and maintain control over the TCs with more false promises.

I'll be back in November! :D

Kiks, why is it, that you as a true TC can see this shit, whilst the other TCs are being taken for a ride?? Could it be that they are not looking at it from outside?? Having said that, there are a number of UK TCs that are looking in, but still don't see what you see, maybe just their blind hatred for anything GC I suppose.

All the same, it will be to their own detriment that they continue on this path. may they RIP.

You are absolutely right Kikapu.

Btw VP just replied to my PM, and is fine in health. That was a relief, I mean I would be very sorry to hear something bad happened to ANY of out little company in here.

Have a nice holiday my friend, careful from too much eating, growing a belly might push the chicks away

I have also noticed that TC's aren't on here. May be they are in what they call north cyprus forum. Which I chose not to support

Piratis wrote:And who are the "non bigots" according to you then? Those who are willing to give up their most basic human and democratic rights and kiss the ass of Turkey? During the referendum the percentage of such fools was 24%. Today most of them woke up and you must be one of the very last.

Years of discussions in this forum and elsewhere proved that there is no chance in a million that we will find a peaceful solution. The Turks invaded our country, stole our lands, they believe that they won the war and that now the "solution" is just our signuture for our capitulation so that the "realities" they forced on the ground would be legalized.

Well, by now they must have realized that such thing is not happening.

Solution means correcting and not merely acceptiing what is wrong. Solution means restoring the human rights of all Cypriots, not legalizing the human rights violations. Solution means uniting Cyprus, not officially dividing it into Greek and Turkish. Solution means abolishing racism and segregation, not institutionalizing them. Solution means democracy, not dysfunctional, undemocratic systems that will collapse in no time. Are these basic principles that every nation strives to achieve "bigoted" according to you? Or maybe you think of Cypriots as second category humans who should accept to sacrifice all those things just to serve the interests of a foreign country and a small minority?

Sorry bananiot, but we will not capitulate. The TCs have realized this, and it is about time you realized this as well.

This sums up the position very well and would make a great introduction for expressing the Greek Cypriot perspective to the UN, the EU and anyone else who needs to understand the Cyprus problem. I could also mention that under article 49 of the Geneva convention IV it is a war crime to transfer settlers into occupied lands. Have you ever thought of writing political speeches because this is a very powerful message.

Stylianos2, welcome to the CF. I totally agree and thought just that when I had first read it.
Bravo Pirati, for that excellent summation of the Cyprus situation. If by accepting that it makes me a bigot then I am ready to be called that. Kala n'sai.
