should cyprus bail out the "motherland"?

Postby ZoC » Thu Oct 06, 2011 2:12 am

greece, through greed, corruption, laziness, incompetence, stupidity and lack of bollox, is on its knees, and deservedly so.

cyprus - which greece f*cked over in 1974, enabling the turkish beast to snatch a third of the island - has now been blessed with untold amounts of gas, which could make it the richest country in europe.

so. come on - let's see how committed yialosers are to this embarrassment of a motherland.

should cyprus use its gas money to bale out greece?

Maybe the Turkish Airforce can drop some Napalm on the traitors in the munterland. The solution is to burn everything & start again.

ZoC, maybe you should make such posts in the jokes section?

Jokes aside, Cyprus is about to receive a 2.5 billion euro loan from Russia without which we would need a bailout as well.

I believe Cyprus as an EU State ought to contribute to a fund to repay Greece's debt. Having said this I emphasise on the importance of the rest of Europe to ensure changes to the system so that the rich pay their fair share. As well as multinationals etc. This would also apply to any EU State which Greece has found her self in.

Paratis, only problem there is that 2bn of that will go to pay the lazy, greedy, government workers and we'll be back to square one in no time.

The civil service (service if you can call it that), is the cancel of the cypriot treasury. They are not worth what they are paid, sorry, but you go to ANY government department for service, you get nothing but arrogant, rude, lazy, mobile phone playing peasants who think they are doing you a favour.

We need a massive reform in the civil service if we, Cyprus as a nation, is to progress forwrd.

don't worry everyone; only the 300 or so spartan-wannabes will have to contribute. it'll be a tax on the stupid.
