I don't think so.
What is becoming increasingly clear is the fact that Turkey doesn't care about the TCs. Turkey just uses them to keep its grubby hands on Cyprus. This is starting to sink in with the TCs as well. And the potential for oil and gas has been a big game changer. The TCs would like to be a part of it, but they are trapped by Turkey.
The smoke and mirror act Turkey is playing with its so called seismic surveys in the RoC EEZ aims to keep the TC element in check and under control, because Turkey fears it may lose control over them. But even if every TC leaves, Turkey will not change its stance unless the oil and gas becomes the catalyst for international pressure and even intervention.
The international pressure is coming from all directions now, but will it lead to intervention? Turkey is now finding out that it will not be able to rely on any support from countries which were behind her over many decades. The Jewish lobby is a powerful creature, and their interests in Cyprus are exponentially increasing on a weekly basis.
