You're the deluded one. Have you forgotten the Turks role in the last thirty five years of isolating, assimilating and replacing the TCs? Are the TCs not a minority in the north? Are they not on the verge of cultural elimination? Are they not fewer in numbers than ever since the foundation of the RoC?

Who has done this to the TCs? The Republic of Cyprus which gives them free health care, benefits and EU citizenship? You are so deluded you are extolling the virtues of the Turkish occupation as the TCs sink into oblivion. Now that's what I call ethnic cleansing...

Why do you always keep talking about events that happened from 1974 onwards??? the problems started way before then, mainly because of the GC's. When are you all going to wake up!!! Stop trying to act the innocent party in all this when the reason Cyprus is the way it is today is because it was caused by the Greeks and GC's!!

Ive seen another topic with the subject of "TC's being greedy". Again, it was because of your greed that Cyprus is the way it is today!!

How far back do you want to go? The greek speaking Cypriots are indeginous to Cyprus. 'the Ottomans' did not turn up until much later in Cyprus' history.

It's true. The problems started way before 1974. We could go back to the Ottoman occupation. But sticking to recent history, have you not heard of the TMT - who were Turkish fascists sponsored by Turkey? They started the intercommunal conflict in 1958 when broadcasts from Turkey called on the TCs to start a civil war and murder Greek Cypriots. Do you know they formed armed TC enclaves in the 1960s and began a terrorist campaign to bring about partition – as in 'taksim or death' – which was predicated on the genocide of Greek Cypriots from northern Cyprus?

To further its dream of taksim, the TMT imposed self-isolation on the TCs, forbade TCs from any social, political or economic contact with Greek Cypriots and threatened, beat and killed any TC who disobeyed their orders. So you are correct. The roots of the Turkish invasion and occupation go back way before 1974.

The Turkish Cypriots have been fed lie after lie by their leadership these last 50 years. This lie brought misery to Turkish Cypriots and, more especially, to 200,000 Greek Cypriots, who were ethnically cleansed from northern Cyprus to make way for partition. So when you want to make allegations as to who started what and when, let's go back before 1974 and see where that gets you. Absolutely nowhere. Now clear off and don't come back till you learn some history and some humility...

Who invited you to come to Cyprus in the first place? And what was your criminal regime doing on Cyprus for 400+ years ha?
How many millions of Cypriots did your Ottoman forefathers torture and murder during those 400+ years you incompetent, backward, disgusting, and foul smelling Turkish fleabag... ha? :evil:

and whats more London, the apartheid still exists in some forms or another today. The Turkish Cypriot side(Turkey) is not pro-democracy and fundemental human rights for all Cypriots in Cyprus. hence unable to reach a comprehensive settlement today.

This is also the real reason why noone recognises the occupied areas. Reasons similar as to why the UN does not recognise Palestine as a state either. They are both fundementally terror regimes in one form or another.
