are the tcs greedy?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

are the tcs greedy?

Postby boomerang » Tue Oct 04, 2011 2:48 pm

how come the tcs are never happy?...haven't they benefited enormously from the invasion?...not all tcs but the majority...aren't they happy with getting 37% and now they want to steal, yes steal, from the waters in the south of the island?...when they won't allow fishermen to fish around their area...

they know the "future" federal government will be responsible for the gas/oil, when finally is brought to the surface...so why are they threatening us again with war?...are these the peaceful dove loving people we would want to join one day?...

don't they realise with this discovery the game changed?...we might not want to unite with vasts amount of gas ready for export in the future...don't, tcs, realise their current action is driving the gcs away from any solution?...don't they realise only the roc can give them partition?...don't they realise the current status quo will stay leaving them up shit creek with assimillation?

didn't tcs declared their own state?...how come then turkey doens't share gas/oil with her neighbours and with threats of war...

further more have the tcs paid any money during exploration for them to share?...oh i forgot, whats mine is mine and whats yours is mine...

keep on dreaming tcs and you gonna get what's rightfully yours, a big fat zero unless you stop with your maximalist demands...

There is a risk incorporating the Turkish Cypriots into 'our' government.

without a doubt, they will likely be an opposition to everything. if there is anything other than an island wide democracy, the end results will just stunt developments and the progression of all Cypriot Citizens.

i dont think they will even realise it, as long as they win. this is just my opinion based upon a verifiable track record.

In reality the Kibrislis are trapped by their own leadership which is puppet in the hands of Turkey
They live in a non recognized place with no future and no prospects.
They totally lost hope for a solution, actually most Kypreoi lost that hope too.
They use settlers as cheap labour, and they pay the price by having their lower classes unemployed and their middle class sub-employed.
As a community it is heading towards extinction and be replaced by settlers.

What's NEW however is that the recent oil explorations, and the way Turkey showed her real face. The Kibrislis understood that Turkey will use them either for no solution, or for the oil.
Thus on a personal level they don't give a shit about the gas explorations and the vast majority of them including the partitionists, have only one dream in life TODAY: To abandon Cyprus.

It's hard to spend a whole life for a "cause", just to realize you 've been used. this is what happened to the Kibrislis.

This is why the only one who even cares say something in this forum is Halil. He will leave too as soon as his daughter/s abandon Cyprus.

pyro i beg to differ with you...lets look at what halil said...

the annan plan gave him and his family everything he wanted, and he is still sore today for not getting it, by saying the gcs do not want to share...but for halil to get everything he wanted, means others missed out on what they wanted...

further more halil is not happy with the 37% stealing, now he is saying he has a stake in the sea south of the island, and in no way close to their declared country...what's mine is mine and what's yours is mine mentality...

look at the letter they send to the UNSC, they insist the UN drop all resolutions against them and endorse a new one, de registering the ROC...

he wants his cake and he was to eat it aswell...

oh and bon voyage to halil's daughter...

Do you think that they should all be punished for perverting the course of justice?
They live in a non recognized place with no future and no prospects.

This is now their fault, they did make some stupid decisions when they were a majority being lead by Denktash.
They totally lost hope for a solution, actually most Kypreoi lost that hope too.

you may be correct here. i think the RoC will always fight against the occupation though.
They use settlers as cheap labour, and they pay the price by having their lower classes unemployed and their middle class sub-employed.

Yes, Eroglu must be getting some kickbacks.
Thus on a personal level they don't give a shit about the gas explorations and the vast majority of them including the partitionists, have only one dream in life TODAY: To abandon Cyprus.

what are they waiting for? they can put their RoC passports to use and go anywhere in Europe or Turkey.
It's hard to spend a whole life for a "cause", just to realize you 've been used. this is what happened to the Kibrislis.

yes, their reality must have been completely shattered.
