The first two are the politicians we despise, and the last is a veteran CF member who has never done you or me any wrong.
Ok, so his English sucks but he’s always pleasant and funny in person, and his spoken English is ok.

Now can we all get back to the clown Erdogan? :)

sure... just waiting for our funny friend goebbals-halil to taunt us with the latest position of erdo's tug boat in cypriot waters, so we can all laugh again.

Halil and his cronies, constantly curse us for rejecting the dreaded AP. The plan that was going to destroy Cyprus, but give him and his family everything he wanted. What does that tell you about him. Pyro, you are going soft in the head, his very actions and admissions means he doesn't give 2 shits about the GCs, and he deserves no sympathy either.
His copy paste of bayraki shit is pure propoganda designed to tir further hatred, and you are giving him the benefit of the doubt FFS.

Two-timimg, double crossing low lifes like Halil can go F themselves, for we do not need this shit.

Capish!

We have to be able to assess and understand the way Kibrislis are, feel, react, think, B25.
Without claiming I am an expert my understanding is that the Kibrislis who don't belong in the classes of exceptions that I mentioned before, are living in a place with no future and no prospects. Those who could have already abandoned Cyprus.
Just have a look at Jerry's post regarding his recent visit.Everything there is half dead. There is almost no chance for young people.

In view of that they see the Kypreoi as their only hope to get out of this. You cannot imagine how happy and friendly they are when the see a Kypreos in the occupied! In fact they think we are the "superior" ones who can lead to a solution that will bring a new day for them. The Anan Plan was good for them, and they thought it was good for us too. It was A WAY OUT for them.

Imo if you were a Kibrisli you would have cursed the Kypreoi for rejecting the Anan Plan the same way that Halil does.
I can guarantee you the Kibrislis that don;t belong to the exceptions would accept any solution that would offer them some security and some time to settle property issues, even their return to the RoC system.
The problem like i said before is with the partitionists of Denktash and Eroglu type, the crooks who sell our properties, the foreigner receivers, the settlers, and Turkiye.

The problem with the TC's ref:annan plan and everything else is that their ideals and wishes have been completely diluted by the settlers.

whatever plan goes to referendum accommodates the settlers too. The RoC / greek Cypriots may not want the settlers to stay but the reality is that the settlers are being factored into the equation as they can collectively veto anything if it is not to their liking.

I think the financial mirror is a reputable source and even though unbelievable that cyprus could stumble accros gas I think it may materialise. Turkey needs to rethink its position on Cyprus and the EU

maximus, I believe last time it went to referendum that issue was taken into consideration. I also think that the settlers will also vote for a fairer solution because of the chance of them staying and hence a better life then they would have in turkey. In fact i think it would be in the best interest of the RoC to reconsider its position on this matter in order to win the vote. Weird thinking but can make sense if sold well.

Besides where would you rather live in Turkey with no job or in Europe with natural resource boom and a well paid job?

its not so much about winning the vote as it is about the demographics of the Island being changed for the good. The fact that transferring your population to an occupied area constitutes a war crime and they will be even more loyal to the motherland than Cyprus. The motherland will always consider them as primary citizerns of Turkey and they can later become trojan horses to suit Ankara's policy on Cyprus.

I am personally flexible on the issue which also means that the Turkish Cypriot must be flexible too. If Cyprus will have a federal solution with bizonality, the territorial adjustments will dictate how many settlers can feasibly stay in the Turkish Cypriot 'zone' without them deteriorating theirs and every other cypriots quality of life. The settlers can help bolster the TC economy to a certain degree but they can also hinder the progression and the development of the country as a whole. They do not have an affinity with Cypriots, they have a different ideology which can cause a lot of abrassiveness..
