Hi

Is there anyone out there who can recommend a (preferably legitimate!) site from which television programmes and films can be downloaded from the Net? Ideally I don’t just want to watch them on my PC screen, but I’d like to be able to save them to DVD as well. (I have watched TV via Wisevid and Channelmaster in the past, but these were obviously non-legit as they’re not accessible anymore!)

I’ve had a look at the likes of Sharing Zone, Kickass Torrents, Addic7ed, Filestube & FileSonic, but does anyone have any specific preferences? Obviously I would prefer it to be free, but as long as the subscription isn’t too expensive and the picture/streaming quality is of sufficiently good quality, I would be happy.

For free and legitimate you can only find sample episodes and old movies. Youtube movies is one place you can stream such movies http://www.youtube.com/movies . Downloading movies from sharing sites, torrents etc like those you mentioned is not legitimate. See also my thread about Netflix and Hulu here: cyprus34568.html For watching Youtube, Netflix, Hulu etc on your TV you can always get an HTPC (Home Theater PC) or if you want something more simple you can get something like the Boxee Box, Roku Player or Apple TV.
