Have the Turks tested there modifications? if so, to what extent?

The Turkish air force may be taking a leap of faith. Lockheed Martin will direct them to their warrently disclaimer, particularly the sections relevant to modification and tampering of products
.

GPS is an American technology, I am confident that they can partially/turn it off.

That's right Max.

This is where the Americans have the advantage. They can factor in triangulation errors which undermine precision weapons.

I think that is what Get Real is referring to.

What it means is this. In the event of a conflict between Israel and Turkey, Israel will hit military targets 99% of the time with minor collateral damage, whereas Turkey will have a success rate of 1% and will kill many civilians.

The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a space-based global navigation satellite system (GNSS) that provides location and time information in all weather, anywhere on or near the Earth, where there is an unobstructed line of sight to four or more GPS satellites. It is maintained by the United States government and is freely accessible by anyone with a GPS receiver with some technical limitations which are only removed for military users.

The GPS project was developed in 1973 to overcome the limitations of previous navigation systems,[1] integrating ideas from several predecessors, including a number of classified engineering design studies from the 1960s. GPS was created and realized by the U.S. Department of Defense (USDOD) and was originally run with 24 satellites. It became fully operational in 1994.

In addition to GPS, other systems are in use or under development. The Russian GLObal NAvigation Satellite System (GLONASS) was in use by only the Russian military, until it was made fully available to civilians in 2007. There are also the planned Chinese Compass navigation system and the European Union's Galileo positioning system.

Other countries would not be developing their own if this technology was not a threat to their national security. GPS is essentially an artificially simulated environenemt. If you plug your military hardware into the 'mainframe' (matrix) and go to war with the creator you need to be neo to hit the agents.

The Russians Are Coming...

Under the headline “The Russians are coming’, daily Politis yesterday said the Russian aircraft carrier ‘Admiral Kuznetsov’ was expected in the eastern Mediterranean region next month.

An officer of the Russian fleet, speaking to the ITAR-Tass news agency reportedly said that the aircraft would arrive in the region on November 19 for three months, carrying with it a large number of Russian fighters. A submarine was also mentioned for “patrol purposes” as part of exercises with other countries in the area. Politis said the arrival of the Russians coincided with the expected announcement by Noble of its initial drilling results.
