Oil - European Parliament Condemns Turkey's Threats

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

two things:

a semi submersible platform rig rents for about 300,000$US weekly; then it must be operated.

the data Turkey needs, to invest in such a vessel will take years...

Christofias should stress that Cypriots are made up of many peoples, they should all benefit without distinction. descriptions like "Greek Cypriot" and "Turkish Cypriot" represent Persons, and not Individuals, for which the Government of Cyprus has been elected to represent.

However British Liberal Democrat Sir Graham Watson said he was "not surprised" at Turkey's reaction.
"What Cyprus is doing may be defensible legally", he said. "But it is politically inflammatory".

there u go from the f*cking brits. something 'legally defensible' is also 'inflammatory'. like britain itself; a haemorrhoid on the arse of europe.

I wouldn't worry about the UK Liberal Democrats. They are long-time appeasers of Islamic fanaticism along with their Green brethren in the EU. A bunch of wimps and shallow-minded fools who believe it's best to stay quiet in the face of fascists and fanatics out of fear of provoking them. You see, the Liberal Democrats and their kind believe that Islam is justified in its assault on the West because of the West's colonial past. Idiots like this MEP are self-hating cowards who are no better than the British appeasers of fascism before WW2. It's a wonder fools like this don't blame the Poles for provoking the Nazis into attacking them. You'd think the British would have learned a lesson from their own history. No chance.

Dear Sir

http://news.bbc.co.uk/democracylive/hi/ ... 598551.stm

Would you mind clarifying what you mean exactly; "legally defensible" but "politically inflammatory"?

Your statement has the potential to be politically inflammatory and you should "not be surprised" at the reaction of people who care for Cyprus.

Do I need to remind you that Britain is legally committed to defending the island's territorial integrity? Britain failed to do so in 1974. How do you justify perpetuating this legally indefensible position?

Yours

(PS u piece of shit)

Typical UK Liberal Democrat. Unprincipled, pathetic and ridiculous. Weren't the Liberal Party the party of Gladstone? How a once mighty party has fallen...

To Leader of the LibDems

Dear Sir

Please can you reacquaint members of your party to Britain's treaty obligations in relation to Cyprus as it really is unbecoming of a member of Her Majesty's coalition government and knight of the realm to put their foot in their mouth the way your Sir Graham Watson MEP is reported by the BBC to have done.

Thanks you

Yours
