Partition Cemented

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Partition Cemented

Postby trcyp » Sat Sep 24, 2011 6:32 am

I've been browsing the forum for a few days now and I see some GCs having illusions that if they find natural gas that USA and Israel will turn against Turkey and GCs will take back North Cyprus. I think it is time for you to get real. It seems that this natural gas story will only fill your brains with gas and you will miss the last opurtunity to unify Cyprus. What you can get at best is something slightly better than Annan plan. If you can not accept this then forget about North Cyprus. The whole of it. You will not even get an inch back. USA and Israel will not go to war with Turkey and will not help you to win a war against Turkey. You should wake up from your dream and concentrate on the negotiations otherwise it will soon be to late for you.

Quick, wheres, DTA, another turk/TC has appeared! :) :)

Maybe he will come back now.

Welcome trcyp, seems you are another turkey brainwashed individual. Your dream of keeping n.cyp is just a make believe by your mother land to keep you lot under control.

But hey, can't get any worst than it has for the last 37 yeras, at least we may have the prospect of gas/oil where as you will just be flooded with illegal anatolian gypsies.

Seems to me, it is you that needs a solution more than us.

Have a nice day.

it's already too late for u so don't worry about it.

but why not tell us what offers/incentives the turkish occupiers have made, that suddenly make it worthwhile concentrating on negotiations now.... after 37 years of bullshit?

Actually I 've been challenging the Kypreoi in this forum that unless we use the opportunity of the natural gas resources with wisdom,so that we get a FAIR solution we will definitely lose the occupied part of Cyprus to Turkey, which means if you are a real Kibrisli will also lose it to trashy settlers.
In the meantime please empty your own brains from the gases of Anan Plan or anything near it.

The United State’s prioritization in the region is about to be seriously challenged with purported gas and oil finds of historic proportions so yes… it is very safe to assume that Turkey’s usefulness may be compromised at the loss of occupied Cyprus and perhaps much, much more!

It’s by no accident that Erdogan has panicked and behaving so irrationally lately.

As for “reunification” you’ll find that most people in Cyprus are NOT interested in sharing anything with Turkey pertaining to Cyprus, and are well aware of the TC political insignificance.

Furthermore, one cannot “cement partition” because no such international procedure exists. Turkey cannot take this any further so it’s a matter of time before she loses occupied Cyprus one way or another.

Cementing partion appears to be an oxymoron bearing mind cement is abinder and cemeting is more about joining together.

Oil and Gas will in itself create massive alliance shifts and this will cause Balance of Power shifts which will effect all nations in the East Med.

Those that have the gas, will be the new found friends of the US at the expense of others that don't have any.

Annan plan came out of it and we accepted it. If the negotiations fail then we will ask from the UN to recognize the TRNC like the Palestinians will do. It is not our fault that you rejected the UN peace plan.

You and the other GCs here are a dreamers! If there is gas in the sea south of Cyprus the Americans will not make you their best ally but they will just take most of the gas for themeselves and offer you very little. The UK has bases in South Cyprus and what do they give you in return? Jack shit! You are an unimportant nothingness. If you have something that worths something then the Americans can just take it as they please. Turkey on the other hand is big and powerful and has a say about everything in this region and nobody can change this.
