This thread has shown perfectly why no TCs are left on the politcal topics. The foul language. It goes on unabated. What happened to promises made by ADMIN? Zilch. Shame on those that cannot find better vocabulary for their arguments. This is nothing but bullying. Many forums simply ban bully's, but this will hit their pockets. What a shame.

i think if you were to look over this thread you will find the first insult came from DTA calling Sotos a bitch...yeah ban DTA for bullying...is that what you want?...

the tcs left this forum because no longer can defend the indefensible...

further more where were you when turkey was trheatening cyprus with war?...your silence spoke volumes on this...

admit here and right now, turkey was wrong on threats and admit here and right now the roc has a right in exploring for oil...

Turkey is a bully. Have İ ever denied that? İ also saw the Attacks and verbal abuse on DTA during the week. No wonder this otherwise gentleman has blown his top. İ was going to respond to this abuse, but decided to keep out of it.

All İ can say now is God help Cyprus and true Cypriots. İ also will not put up with this barrage of abuse from so called educated and intelligent people. This applies to both sides. Why should İ ask for DTA banning when so many GCs simply thrive on vulgarities. Outside cf İ have discovered a huge world of forums where such language is not tolerated. Furthermore the language of some GCs here is a total embarrassment to my genuine stance on the Cyprus issue.

Look, all points of view should be aired, and yes, at times the discussions do get out of hand. I have scaled back of using strong language myself, even though some take this as a sign of weakness. I disagree. When an individual stops respecting me, then I let them have it, that's it. DTA often tries to provoke me with his endless groundless accusations, but when ever I ask him to back his statements, he disappears until another time, to repeat the same rubbish. I have learned his pattern, therefore I do not take him seriously or personally, but respond to him in a civilized way all the same.

Firstly I owe you an apology for bringing your name into this in an agresive manor when you had not been involved in this thread. My reasoning for this is that I am upset that there are no tcs left on this forum and I believe that you had a part to play in that.

There are no tcs left here kikapo surely even you must be unhappy about that.

There are now no alternative views just a bias hegonomy - and that is bad for everyone.

Turkey has done plenty wrong both in Cyprus and else where in the world, but there is not a people or nation who can claim that they haven't. Turkey is no angel but is far from the worst offender.

Speaking specifically about Cyprus neither community can claim that their hands are clean. So to blame everything on turkey is at best revisionism and at worst propaganda- and thats not even getting to Greeces role in this.

Yep, Turkey sure is the worst offender in my book, and so it should to all rightful thinking Cypriots.

And in the last year or so, Turkey has proven to be one of the world's rogue States. The MAVI Marmara affair started it all, and from this incident, Turkey has shown its true colors to the entire world.

The Israeli soldiers had every right to open fire in self defense. It is sad the people will killed, and condolences to the families, but the soldiers have a right to defend themselves from the brutal beatings.

I only show how fascist you are. Don't you support a separate Turkish state in Cyprus? Yes you are. How can such separate state exist? There is only one way. Ethnic cleansing and stealing our lands. ZoC and Sotos have you spot on. You are an apologist for Turkish military aggression in Cyprus. Turkey occupies Cyprus. Not Greece. You suggest that Greece and by implication Greek Cypriots are responsible for the island's division. As if Turkey had no choice but to invade and partition the island in 1974. Presumably to "guarantee" the island's sovereignty from the Greek Junta.

This doesn't excuse the stupidity of Greek fascism in the 1960s or of the fools in EOKA B - who were sworn enemies of Cypriot independence. Just as Turkey, the US and the UK were.

But this doesn't make Greek Cypriots responsible for the occupation. This makes them victims. When it comes down to it, it was Turkey which invaded Cyprus and it is Turkey which occupies the island today. It is Turkey which is still the aggressor in Cyprus. Greece has had a democratic government for 37 years. So in what way is Greece currently responsible for the partition of the island?

Why are you so keen to deflect attention away from Turkey's current occupation of the island? And its continuing eradication of the Greek Cypriot presence in the north? Where is your indignation at Turkey's policies in the north? Instead you only ever post here to defend Turkey and to blame everyone else for the division of the island except Turkey. That is your contribution to this forum. An apologist for the partition of the island and a simple-minded appeaser of Turkish fascism.
