Where have I shown any sympathy for the T/Cs? They have made their own bed and must lie in it. It is T/Cs who are complaining about their extinction. It is up to T/Cs to stand up and fight for their right to a future on a united island. If they do, then I will support that right. But if T/Cs don't give a damn about their long-term survival on the island, then why should I?

There are around 80,000 T/Cs left. And around 120,000 illegal settlers. How many T/Cs do you think there are?

As for your suggestion that Kurds are happily assimilated in Turkish society, well I think you're just being stupid or are just plain ignorant. From the general tenor of your posts I'd say both.

1. You either believe the enforced partition of the island is a disgusting stain on humanity or you can fuck off. No middle ground on this one.

2. The majority of the Kurdish community are "happy to be Turkish citizens" are they? But they want autonomy from Turkey. And the main Kurdish party, the BDP, is threatening to declare its own Parliament. You really do sound like the the worst Turkish propagandist at times. You need to get out more.

3. The last "official" census gave a population in the occupied area of roughly 260,000. Are the supposed 400,000 "registered cars" counted as citizens too? Are you sure you're not getting confused with the number of sheep?

Yes, you are an apologist. It takes you two sentences to prove it. Only Turkey has been occupying Cyprus since 1974. No-one else. To suggest Greece is somehow responsible for the continuing occupation of Cyprus is not just ridiculously stupid it is also just plain malicious. Well said, boomerang. We're now supposed to be responsible for driving away T/Cs who hold objectionable views. For how long are we supposed to tolerate disgusting slurs such as G/Cs are responsible for their own ethnic cleansing? Why should T/Cs be allowed to post this malicious and offensive propaganda and get away with it?

Are we supposed to debate nicely with someone who hides behind a thuggish army and rejoices in having stolen your property then blames you for having brought it on himself? What nonsense. The fact is that Turkey is running out of credibility on Cyprus and the lack of T/C posters is a direct reflection of this. No-one believes Turkish propaganda about the occupation anymore. Not even Turkey. The invasion and occupation of Cyprus has been exposed for the brutish, fascistic expression of Turkish psychosis that it always was. What's there to argue about except how we can rid ourselves of Turkey from the island? I wish the T/Cs had more say in the matter. Unfortunately they don't.
