So. let me understand.......u, cypriots, refused the reunification......but spending lot of words talking against turkish........

Cofused, cowards people u are....

...i am amazed at how well you spelled in this post, alemoro.

...go back a step further though, remember Denktash has been sited pretty well by every secretary geneal of the UN before Annan for having most caused delays in finding a solution; and that is over 35 years, how do you dismiss that?

...i remember the Annan Plan, and I read it, the last one, the one I've been allowed to see, after the referendum; I think that, this, rings true, and given the efforts by Turkey, 65% of the electorate voting yes, you'd know this is a poor showing.

Bravery, is not plunder, alemoro. These wicked acts to stop takes greater Courage, and if you are a believer in God by any definition, you should consider that it is the murder and mayhem that you propose which is the Ignorance Cypriots, now labelled "Greeks" and "Turks", must resist.

...alemoro, if you were Cypriot could you live in a Unitary State?

...and if you are Turcophone or Grecophone as a Person could you accept electing as well as a Federal Government, one of many (two at least) National Assemblies so that in your neighbourhood where you reside as an elector, your tax dollars effect your daily life.

...this is Bicommunal, it does not mean tearing the island in two.

Normally I would extend a warm welcome to newcomers; not this time as I doubt you can read. I am a Cypriot, a Turco Cypriot. I have read the Annan Plan from head to tail. Then I put myself in GC shoes. My conclusion was an emphatic NO to the Annan Plan. Now what about that? You cannot say much can you as you never read the damn thing. Why dont you go and read about Omar Moukhtar.

Deniz bey,Deniz Pasha ..........65% of us didn't think like you did .......sometimes put yourself in TC's shoes as well.....u have a lot of chance to chat with TC's and ask and talk with them face to face ....why ? they said yes .....

The agreement was one of give and take - one side, the Kypreos, was expected to do most of the giving and the other, the Kirbilisi, and the illegal settlers, were going to do most of the taking: The Kibrilisi therefore said yes because it was plainly biased towards them. Ask your self this - would you or any Kibrilisi have signed it if they were in the position of the Kypreos.

Only once you have looked at it from the other side's POV should you criticize those who voted against.

I understand that quite late in the day the Turkish/Kibrilisi side Introduced a number of changes: I suspect they did this to sabotage the plan, by making it a certainty the Kibrilisi would vote yes and the Kipreos vote no so Turkey could then blame the Kypreos side for rejecting the deal. Turkey does not want a deal, in particular one that would cut them out of violating the sovereignty of Cyprus, as a proper settlement should.
