wallace ....... unfortunately for Cypriots on both side of the green line the case is not closed on the numbers of settlers. It is not war crime when Cyprus is concerned because the settlers are arriving on daily basis and the unethical British government and US interests allow the violation to take place.

Isn't it obvious that the Turkish side is doing everything it can to make SOLUTION IMPOSSIBLE?

Why don't we just concentrate our efforts on that, instead of losing our time to meaningless negotiations? :evil:

Erdogan's Cyprus policy is in tatters. The plan was to stall the Cyprus talks and then pursue recognition for the pirate state. But he hadn't counted on the discovery of gas reserves tilting the strategic balance and strengthening the RoC's sovereignty. Now recognition is a distant dream and Turkey has done a great job of portraying itself as the neighbourhood thug in conflict with Western interests.

End result: Turkey has no Cyprus policy. No EU strategy. Kurdish unrest at home and has upset its former allies. Erdogan is left strutting around looking for an unlikely role as leader of the Muslim world and cheerleader for Islamic terrorism. Good luck with that one...

They have equal rights to our oil and gas, but we have no say in who can classify himself as our compatriot, as per the philospohy of Erdo and Davut.
