In the long run, the Republic of Cyprus gets gas, oil and electricity. The T/Cs get a pot to piss in - if they're lucky.

Question: Ms. Buttenheim, how does the UN perceive the controversy over natural gas exploration and how it would affect the talks?

Ms. Buttenheim: What I should say is that, while this issue is not directly related to the talks and it has not been discussed in the talks, it should be understood that natural resources, if they are discovered, would be for the benefit of all Cypriots – Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots – under the framework of a federal united Cyprus. The United Nations would appeal to all involved to resolve this matter in a peaceful manner and look beyond the issues to the potential benefits that a united Cyprus can bring to Cypriots and to the region.

Suddenly halil has discovered the benefits of a united Cyprus. What's brought on this revelation?

The RoC is the only internationally recognised body to make any agreements and undertake any actions it sees fit. With or without the TCs who have chosen to side with the illegal occupier and want to be masters in the north and partners in the south. So until then Hailillilil FO you racist piece of crap. Hade assirktir malaka.

Don't be such a prat. It was the T/Cs who claimed 'independence' in the north and set up an illegal state on stolen land. Did you worry about sharing the north's resources with us? Did you show any concern for our heritage and homes in the north? Now you want a share of the resources of the Republic. Well you can whistle for it.

Either get lost and join Turkey, renounce your EU citizenship and leave us in peace or give up the "TRNC" for a stake in the Republic. Which do you think Turkey will allow you to have? You're going to end up with jack-shit, halil. Because Turkey thinks that's all you deserve.

Halil you wet dreamed for the AP to come about, because it would have given you and your family everything you wanted and F the GCs huh?? Well, seems we might just have the upper hand now. Watch this space, as soon as that gas is confirmed, you will be well and truelly shafted and our credit rating, friends and protectors will begin to amass.
