I'm not so sure about this. These things are now so dependent on software that a trained monkey can fly them. The pilot can only be as good as the software that is on board.

They great thing about the software is that the Israelis wrote it, I am sure they have a back-door to sort it out!

They great thing about the software is that the Israelis wrote it, I am sure they have a back-door to sort it out!

True to a certain extent. Turkey announced only last week that they managed to reprogramme the software to be able engage with Israeli fighter jets. before the changes in the software these fighters were seen as friendly aircraft and the TAF couldn't even take aim at it.
