This is becoming all too comical. I am really surprised at Turkey's actions. If Turkey wants to do a exploration for Oil & Gas in the northern part of Cyprus, illegally I may add, just do it. She has been illegal in Cyprus for the last 37 years, so why stop now, but why all the melodrama about war ships escorting exploration ships. Who really cares about Turkey exploring for Oil & Gas in the northern shores of Cyprus, because all they will be doing is, wasting good money, because;
a) there's nothing there to find, and
b) if there are any finds, Turkey cannot bring it up herself and no oil company in the world is going to help Turkey bring up any Gas & Oil illegally if it lies in Cyprus's territorial waters. All Turkey will be doing in fact, is to spend money for exploration without being able to benefit from it. In the end, Cyprus would benefit from it eventually, so Cyprus says, "thank you Turkey".
Turkey and the "trnc" role playing as sovereign countries do in the real world has become very tedious to watch and read. It has surpassed all the rubbish soap operas on Turkish TV where so called actor's acting is dreadful to watch that hurts the eyes and the terrible so called scripts and dialogs that's painful to the ears. Surely Turkey can be a better country than what they are displaying. If this the best Turkey has to offer to the world and for herself, then I'm afraid Turkey will become the biggest turkey of all times in the world.
Turkey, Turkish Cyprus sign deal on undersea bordersEnergy Minister Taner Yıldız said on Monday that Turkish navy ships might escort Turkish exploration ships if necessary, raising the possibility of a naval confrontation in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Turkish warships head towards Cyprus in oil exploration disputeTurkish warships have set out for the Mediterranean at a time when Turkey and Greek Cyprus are deadlocked over possible deposits of oil and natural gas off the coast of the island.
Three warships set sail from İstanbul through the Dardanelles, heading for the Aegean, the Cihan news agency reported on Wednesday. The warships’ activity was interpreted as a sign that Turkey is ready to live up to its pledge and prepare for its own drilling in the company of warships in the debated waters around Cyprus.
