The daily hurriet is reporting that
"
Turkey resumed a bombing campaign against the PKK last Wednesday after a lull of more than a year in response to a PKK attack that killed eight soldiers in southeastern Turkey."
“Seventy-three hiding places and bomb shelters, 18 caves, eight depots, 14 facilities, an ammunition store, nine anti-aircraft stations and three control points were effectively destroyed,” the General Staff also said.
“Although
it is impossible to ascertain the number of terrorists killed, the initial information received shows that 90-100 terrorists were killed, more than 80 were injured and transferred to nearby hospitals and villages, while many terrorists fled to nearby villages and used the locals as human shields,” the statement said.
