My wife and I are off to Cyprus for our third time in September and can't wait - we love the place and see it as our '2nd home'.
The 1st time we stayed in Cyprus, it was early March 2005 - it was our honeymoon and we stayed in Coral Beach Hotel. We did a Troodos Mountain trip but I dont remember much about it as I was really ill (think I was drained after the wedding). Can you drive a normal car up there and see monasteries?
I have 7 days of car hire - where would you go? We are staying at Akti Beach Village Resort which is between Coral Bay and Paphos and don't mind driving up to the south-eastern part of the island.
Also, what is it like for mosquitoes? Our 2nd time to Cyprus was in May 2008 and we were chewed by mozzies! We were staying in Peyia in a villa. Will mozzies be out in force in September?
Any idea where I can find chameleon's in the wild and are they hard to find? I love those little dudes and would SO love to see one in the wild (not to put in my top pocket and to take home
- honest!).Anyway - thanks for your time and I can't wait to see Cyprus again!
