I think Eroglu objected to any monitoring , but I am not sure if he consented in the end.

In that case, the RoC should announce that it also plans to hold a census in the free areas on Nov. 27.

They announced the dates (or should i say the approximate periods) a long time ago, when the whole matter was discussed with the UN.
Both sides have agreed to make a census the one at the occupied was scheduled for before the end of the year and in the RoC controlled areas early next year.
Could anyone tell us if Eroglu consented to international monitoring in the end? It seems I missed the news during those days...

PS. Actually Christofias had asked for simultaneous censuses but Eroglu said they had already scheduled their own, for before the end of the year.On the other hand Christofias said our siide would not be ready so early...
