I here you, but EOKA my love was only put in place to get rid of the Brits, Brits then Shit Stired. Would the British ever call the Riots in England Terrorism?? I don't think so, Terrorism only exists if another country apart from uk or west have any trouble. The attacks what happened in UK for the same reasons happened in Cyprus. Britsh & America lie sooo much!! Oh and there very good with brain washing people just so they can get what they want.

I know you live in Cyprus and you are yet to learn the language hence thats probably why you don't understand the Greeks but you can't ask a slug (British service man) there not trusted, do some of your own research.

If not then sod it enjoy your time there and live in Peace XX

I for one am not racists the times that i have lived abroad have always adapted to the different life styles . My family is multi cultural , and am proud of them all. Its such a silly statement you have made ! ... BTW i hope you give respect to your new neighbours ...where ever that should be ...

All my neighbors are Greek. Its ever since I started work in Hertfordshire away from mixed cultures I have discovered the Racist Brits. I did not mean it for every one..

Sorry if I offended you BTW but most of the Brits are though.

so there you are making a racist remark that most brits are racist? What did they do that was racist? While they should not take against you because you are not British, but Cypriot, They don't have to like you simply for being Cypriot - they made have some real reason, like for example they thought you to be uncircumcised ignormaous, for example if you had some sort of attitude problem, and particularly if it was about how you hate Britain and the Brits - so tell me what did they do?

I despise some Brits too, but not bacuse they are Brits, but because they are uncircumcised Ignoramii.

In that respect IMHO you have proved the point you are stupid complete pr*ck by seeking make the EOKA struggle and the recent Riots in England somehow the same -

BTW LIke Nightowl I too live in multi-cultural/multi racial family - I live in a multi-cultural neighnorhood - I have to put with a foreigner next door - he is Scottish - I wirk for a multinational/multi racial/multicultural company, and the one thing I realised early on was that irrespective of where people come from there are good and bad, likebale and unlikeble.

I despise some Brits, but not bacuse they are Brits, but because the individuals are not (IMHO) nice people.

Other "bright" beer atrocities committed upon unsuspecting under-agers of our era:

Dryburgh's Keg Heavy, Burns Ale, Piper's Export...

It was truly a gloomy time - but then again two or three was all you needed. The renaissance came with the re-introduction of McEwan's 80/- in the early 80s.
