Unless I misunderstood I thought the poster (who is based in the UK) was referring to your not paying taxes in the UK as you live in Cyprus now.
Anyway, It's really good that you contribute to the Cyprus economy. But calling it "corrupt" is a bit patronising and I'm afraid, racist.
As a Brit I'm sure you're not unaware of how much people cheat the system in the UK: through not paying taxes, not declaring income, welfare benefit fraud on a massive scale, corporate tax evasion, people (including MPs) fiddling expenses. What about the recent corruption scandals of the media, the police, journalists? Britain is probably one of the most corrupt nations in Europe. So less of the "corrupt Cypriot economy" please. It's strictly small scale compared to what goes on in the UK!
And referring to Cypriots as becoming "peasants" again is frankly racist bullshit. You should know better.
