First of all I already explained you that if the team was registered in CFA before 2004 then she will keep her name. The odds are that she WAS registered before otherwise the CFA wouldn't accept her to play on the first place. So you are making a lot of fuss for nothing.
The question rises when a NEW team would want to register with a similar name. E.g. "Turk Nicosia".
Take your own example. Suppose another team gets a stadium and she wants to call it xxx Football stadium Emirates.
According to the EU rules she won't be able to do that because the name "emirates" for a football stadium is already taken.

If you don't want to live in a country where a second stadium cannot be called Emirates, then don't.

exactly the nail on the head: Cyprus' Problem, so too the individual EU countries, and soo to Turkey.

...curious, all this huffing about names for teams, specifically Turkish teams; am i to understand that Greeks do not follow the same EU rules?

So in short what you support is that I cannot call my team the Turkish Angels?

You want to hand over the reigns fully to the GCs so they can dominate control and manipulate us into extinction all under the guise of " True Federation, True Democracy, Human Rights, International Laws, EU Principles, Rotating Presidency, Equal Rights" well we aint buying if it takes away the simplest of basic rights then you can stick it where the sun dont shine.

Blame Denktash for signing up for BBF and not agreeing for a settlement before 2004. Now that you are in the EU with the RoC, you don't have any other alternative than to follow the EU Principles. I know life is bitch sometimes, but hey, take it like a man.

This does not mean we will give away the basic of rights all in the name of coming inline with "EU Principles". These will all be sort out by demanding derogation's which the EU will accept in order to unite the island and rid herself of this thorn in her side.

You will have the same rights as the rest of 500 million EU member citizens, so what are you complaining about.
