pls note in these places no settlers lives Krini,Fota,Agırdag,bogaz,Kömürcü.Kanliköy,Çatoz,Gönendere,İpsilat,yeniceköy,beyköy,çukurova,cihangir, inönü ....please investigate the election results of these villages .....and tell me why they don't support the Kibrisli ideas parties....in these villages none of them has GC property either....also in these places stealing happens as well ...like it happens in south....as i said at above i can put hundreds of samples from south too...many things are saying to us life about South us by my GC's friends ...things are not same as used to be before they are saying ...i bet u are saying same things as well yourself but with the propaganda game ....what else u can do....hoping with little games TC!s will collapse ....we will not Pyro...life goes on with u or without with u.....with these games we can not find the solution for the Cyprus problem....with underestimate of North u can not gain anything....more underestimate the north ...we do get more strong....i bet if u were under these kind pressures u will get lost....at past we did have hours and days with electricity ....thanks to god we solved our problem....from Nicosia to karpasia roads were taking 2 1/2 hours to go ...now we can go in a hour....u can find everything in our markets ....we can travel freely to everywhere..... soon we can solve the water problem as well .....haaa doesn't means we don't have problems yes we have and we are trying to our best to solve .... we have a balls as well to demonstrate anything agains for our future ....don't u have economic problems in south...yes u have ....don't u have unemployment at south ...yes you have ...don't u have inflation in south yes u have ....don't u have smuggling in south ....yes u have ...
still we are working hard to find workable solution for Cyprus problem...even at federal republic of Cyprus ...we can see stealers walking around us ........have a nice day all.........

I can't believe that there is even a discussion here. Why would anyone want to argue against their own sovereignty.

Maybe it's not as bad the original post has portrayed it but is it really that much better that someone feels the need to defend it? The situation in th north is frankly shit and if the GC's sit on their laurels and do nothing to improve their politics then it'll get worse in the south too.

But back on the topic of T/C's, as long as Turkey is protecting and bankrolling the north then Turkish Cypriots cannot and should not feel comofortable. Freedom really is worth fighting for.
