How do GCs feel when they visit the TRNC?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Dont try and turn the tables, we embrace our whole population, its just you people we do not trust nor can we live with, so for a few hours you feel what we feel when you visit the TRNC and become the minority in your own country.

But the Turkish Cypriots are protesting against Turkey's "embrace". They are the ones complaining about being a minority in the north. Or hadn't you noticed?

They, men and women, prostituted themselves to the Germans and gained luxuries and even every day goods from the occupiers, but they were despised by their fellow countrymen because of their cowardice and being turncoats. They would grass their neighbours up for a bar of chocolate and a pair of fishnet stockings.

You, Viewpoint, are a cowardly prostitute who has sold himself out for a bar of choclate and some stockings. I hope they look good on you!!

Far better than what we had with GCs, a concentration camp with no chance of survival.

You wouldn't have liked the Kyrenia Dome or Savvides Garage in Nic in '74... now they were real concentration camps.

People were decent and friendly enough, but over-whelming imppression was of an Army Camp, TA everywhere with long convoys of military vehicles on the roads ... and loads of statues of Ataducky, one n every corner and a TA camp in-between.

You sure you were in the right country?

No mate... just crossed the cease-fire line... another country only in your dreams.

... def a Police Zone ... busy with "police" in the pay of the TA beating up CYs.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and the TRNC is home, better safe than dead.

They were protesting about getting less money from Turkey.

They were protesting about Turkey's policies which would take away their privileges. Resulting in further emigration. And the introduction of more settlers. In other words, becoming a minority in the north. Get your facts right. For someone who claims to represent the majority of T/Cs you are remarkably ignorant of their concerns.

Your shitty south Cyprus has to take economic reforms as well, we are no different and these people got money for old rope...if they work hard like everyone else they will earn their money. they protested because they are lazy and do not want to work to earn a living. So you get your facts right you know nothing about what goes on in the TRNC, you make it fit what you wanna see and wish it would be. For gods sake you people still believe there is no division.
