you boys got this all arse backwards as per usual being greek an all.

it was foreign huge investment that caused the collapse of roc. it is no good for the country for the long run. instead of helping it causes debt because of the the payments that made outside. it also has a positive benefit for the country. it enforces discipline and self reliance. it encourages local production. keep on goin man you is doin a great job

Turkey without FDI already invested, would be still a 3rd world country.

There are over 35,000 foreign companies in Turkey, big and small.

With whose foreign investment are ALL those cars make in Turkey do you think, that you so proudly mention every 5 minutes?

Turkey without future FDI would be going backwards, like they have already started on the world's GDP index ratings, from 17th to 19th.

You mean like those inferior so called "smart phones" Turkey produces that most Turks wouldn't be caught dead using them.

Turks are very fashion and brand name conscience. It is in their genetic blueprint. They will go hungry but they will buy that brand name clothes, phones, computers and cars, hence the fact Turkey's imports are much higher than their exports.

No country gets rich by producing knock-offs!

Really!!!

You put too much stock in the G20 index. You should have more concern with GDP per capita instead. Little Switzerland who is not in the G20 had $85,000 GDP per capita in 2014 and Turkey who is in the G20 had $10,500 USD GDP per capita in 2014, which was about $500 USD per capita less than it had in 2013. Now tell me Lordo, which citizens are better off financially, the Swiss or the Turks?
