You don't have to convince me. I thought it was you and Erdogan who needed the convincing, because you both believed that Turkey had a "Bullet Proof" economy only few days ago.

Who said that, I have stated many times that Turkey has economic problems just like any other country, you choose to ignore it by continuing to slag anything Turkish off at every opportunity you must have missed it.

Well, Erdogan has gone from saying that the Global financial problem situations will NOT be having any impact on the Turkey, to now saying that Turkey's economy and financial markets were unlikely to suffer a long term and enduring impact.!

Well, long term is a very relative term, so we shall see.

I think he has finally seen the reality when it comes to world's financials. Erdogan should always remember, that Turkey is a follower of the world's financial markets and not the leader of the world's financial markets.

When the US financial market farts, the rest of the world gets to smell it.

The Prime Ministry's statement also said Turkey's economy and financial markets were unlikely to suffer a long term and enduring impact from developments rocking global markets because of its strong political stability and healthy macro-economic bases.

WRONG! It's called Erdogan backtracking with his tail between his legs after his famous words that Turkey was immune from world's financial woes, then the TL crashed as well the ISE in 3 short days. As I've said, my dog knows more about economics than you and Erdogan put together, and the above article is the proof of that.

Ok lets test how much you claim you know why did he cut rates and allow the TL to fall which has now slowed down?
