“We each presented and then discussed our suggestions. However, we could not come to an overall conclusion”

Two leaders discussed the subheadings of the “Management and Power Sharing” chapter. After the meeting Eroglu said that they covered a lot of ground but that they could not come to an overall conclusion.

The special representatives will meet on Thursday and then, on Friday, the leaders will again come together, Leaders decided that if a consensus is reached, they will approve that specific subheading and then move on to the other subheadings of the “Management and Power Sharing” chapter.
Leaders will meet again on Friday to go over the issues that they have discussed and to see whether the special representatives have agreed on the final touches. They will also discuss the central issues that They have not yet been able to address.

On monday they discussed “the Public Service Commission”, “Public Administration”, “External Relationships”, “the Making of Agreements with Foreign Countries” and some other similar topics.

After meeting on monday Eroglu said “ we have come a long way and that we have reached some consensus. However, these headings have not yet been concluded” and he underlined the importance of the main subheadings of the “Management and Power Sharing” chapter.
“We will continue to obey the principle of confidentiality”.
by the request of the UN Secretary-General, they will continue to obey the “confidentiality” principle, and he concluded his speech by saying: “We will continue confidential negotiations until October, during which time we will seek for ways to come to an agreement.”.................
