How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

What is the official GC reaction to Erdogans(sic) speech, will they now pull out of the meetings?

No.Cypriots will milk this for everything it is worth.Full cream baby. How often is a golden opportunity like this handed to them on a silver platter.
Erdorgan .

Even the most virulent Turkophile MEPs like Andrew Duff are gobsmacked by Erdorgan's open ethnic cleansing position. Erdorgan is playing a tough game of poker but every body can see his cards:

1) Turkey maintains an illegal military ethnic cleansing force on Cyprus;
2) Cyprus is due to become president of the EU in 2012;
3) Turkey faces being an EU candidate conducting an illegal military occupation on the territory of an EU president;
4) Erdogan is a disobedient prostitute so he throws another famous tantrum;
5) Turkey's former alliances with countries willing to over look Turkey's illegal activities have been compromised.
6) Does Turkey think the superpowers are going to maintain investments in Turkey as it becomes a modern version of post Shah Iran.
7) One morning Erdogan will find himself tied up in his underwear with a black pillow case on his head in Guantanemo and a car battery attached to his küçük

Exactly what response can there be to an obviously racist outburst? He even avoided referring to the GCs as Cypriots and used the derogatory "they" for them.

Erdo is proving himself to be a class A1 asshole with every new outburst. He does a perfect job of it all on his own, he needs no outside help.

Well yes and in a way the silly bugger hadn't thought about and we should all be very grateful to him in that he is bringing more and more CYs from both sides of the cease-fire line together in condemnation of his outbursts and obvious intentions... and Erdogan's worst nightmare must be CYs combining in a single voice.

Cyprus Mail 2Oth July

Cyprus Mail wrote:Christofias yesterday said Erdogan’s statements were “totally reprehensible and cynical”, adding, “if this is the line that the Turkish side will pursue, there is no prospect for any progress”.

He said the UN would also be troubled by Erdogan’s statements, since they too wanted to see genuine progress in the talks.

“I hope it was an explosion of words by a spontaneous person and not the line Turkey follows. If so, then things are terribly difficult in the sense that they are essentially dynamiting the prospects of a solution,” he said.

Need anyone say more?

Oh yes deffo... want to say more... here hold me jacket...

Pres X you plonker... these outbursts weren't the work of a "spontaneous person" ... they were made over at least three speeches, they are calculated to do max harm to the talks and any prospect of a Reunited CY, and whilst you're poncing on,...brave CYs are doing your work for you and are being beaten up on the streets of Occupied Nicosia by Erdogan's Stormtroopers for their troubles.

Thanks, feel better now, can have my jacket back now please?

To be honest the more I had in mind was that Chris Toffee Arse is a fine one to talk about exlposions as the ROC Government has a fine record on blowing things up...........
