Bill, why are you seeking to help these guys out, let them wait for a settlement for restitution like we have to wait. Reh, ma pelanes???

:D ...erm yes belana.

No not really mate, there is method and there are two or three angles to this... let me tell you my more devious thinking behind one reason why more people should be encouraged to reclaim their lands in the Free Areas, it makes the exchange scam more and more of a scam with each person that recovers their lands cos each transfer to rightful owners makes inroads into the stolen/exchanged land bank that Tnucland claims to be holding.

We have never exchanged land, but thanks for the advice I will tell my father.

Nice idea, but it backfires.
First it will cost the RoC dearly (that means us). Then they will get their properties and not give a stuff about any settlements. Then the lands stolen in the north still remain in their effective control. Then we are losers all round. If I can't get mine back, why the F should they get theirs. Simple logic is it not??

The RoC is right not to hand it on a plate for them, why should they, are ours offered???? In fact this same mentality should have been extended to all benefits afforded to the TCs pre settlement. I don't see why it's so difficult to understand, how else do you bring them to bear???

Anyway, I said my peice, loose lips, sink ships. Just this of it that way.

Cheers

...i'm with bill on this one.

what's right is right is right.

what we are talking about is the integrity of the Republic, not a squabble between "Greeks" and "Turks".

...certainly, doing what is correct under these trying circumstances is not without contraversy, but it is in just these circumstances where Cypriots can represent themselves as a refined People who understand the value of the Universal Principals they must defend.

Am with RW and BillC on this as well.

Surely we must do right as RW says, cos it's the right thing to do.

How do we know what is right? Well if it looks and smalls like the right thing to do and it comes out of personal conscience, then it's right.

The alternative? ... Doing what politicians and statesmen and tribal leaders or peers tell us to do is reprehensible.
