Power from the Occupied Areas

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Power from the Occupied Areas

Postby bill cobbett » Sat Jul 16, 2011 2:41 pm

Fam Gazette reporting that agreements have been made to transmit power from the Occupied Areas...

From... http://famagusta-gazette.com/cyprus-rep ... 491-69.htm

"...The Electricity Authority of Cyprus will be obtaining electricity from the Turkish occupied areas of Cyprus, after a request submitted by President of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry Manthos Mavrommatis to the Turkish Cypriot electricity company, which was accepted and is covered by the Green Line Regulation..."

From other sources, 120MW has been offered but the transmission system maxes out at 80MW.

Sad, but stupidity is costly.

Another reason why Christofias should shoot himself.

Its like asking a child molestor to take care of a kindergatrten.

I'd rather more hours without power than to dirty myself by asking the rapist for help.

The RoC needs hanging, malakismeni.

I'll have to work out what percentage of the total supply we are getting from the occupied areas and then make sure I use that much less electricity!

Is there any truth in the rumour that am trying to spread that you and other CYs in the Free Areas have the air-con on mate?

Have to agree with the Venerable Deniz, good that CYs are helping each other out ... well if people won't switch off the air-con.

The problem is the "north" is controlled by illegality.
I do not think anyone doubts tCypriots want to help. Or the Turks, the Greeks, the gCypriots, the Egyptians etc in matters such as these.
I recall the great Pendadaktylos fire when Denktash rejected help from the RoC. How silly that was! I am sure you can come up with more examples.
