I insulted your mother once out of frustration and quickly apologised.....What would she think of your constant insults to her TC- ness??????

Deniz,

I am beginning to think that you know nothing about our GC friends and or the "RoC" but are stuck in a sorry state about your own people also lol!!!

To the others;

Just say thank you and STFU!!!!!!!!!! :)
I love you too Zan as well as my kindred in Cyprus, whether Greek speaking or Turkish. What on this thread that I say has upset you?
You being friendly to evil GCs.
Nothing would be further from the truth

What you seem to do is struggle with yourself Deniz. When it suits you are "Cypriot" and when it doesn't you are NC, as in corruption!! When mentioning corruption you could have said Cyprus but you chose a specific, get out of jail free, option
Very observant of you Zan. I do not live in the RoC, so do not have first hand evidence of corruption, but I do hear of it. But that is hearsay. When I spend time in the northern Cyprus, its a different kettle of fish - I can first hand see what goes on. Is that all? Once they clean up their act, I would go and live there even. But never in a corrupt society run by outsiders.

Oh come on Deniz :o save that for the tourists

One of the examples given was about "who you know' to get a job. I don't think we need to speculate on that one at least.

I was going to comment on the "outside" corruption as apposed to...............................................

Why accuse me of being a partitionist? Did you not read what I said above. As they say,'one should put their own house in order'. I do not know the RoC.........oh! Why do I bother. Vive le Chypre. :D

Then why fly their flag :?:

I agree that we need to sort ourselves out but as I said, a "Cypriot" trait and a small island mentality. Was there long before Turkey came on the scene. Do you remember the little night out that GR and DT boasted about where their credentials got them out of bother?

It is the flag of my home. I left The Cyprus Republic long ago as a refugee. I see no other flag that is internationally recognised. There are many in the north of Cyprus carrying passports and ID of that flag; that includes leaders too.

And no I do not remember DT and GRs anecdote. Care to remind us?

Thought I'd take a peek to see if the land touched by heaven has become any more peaceful or heavely. Hahaha, same old same old by those long in the tooth. What I saw was a pragmatic act finally accepted, needs must and all that..
Over time the haters will be marginalised and those that just want to get on will do just that.
Once you break a taboo it no longer becomes quite so vital, let's see how many more taboos will fall by the wayside going forward.
