Carpetbaggers featured on Homes from Hell on ITV1

Postby yialousa1971 » Wed Jul 13, 2011 1:07 am

Brand new series of the show revealing the nightmares which can result from home-buying and home-ownership. This episode features the north London family who purchased a 900,000-pound renovation project in Archway, but found squatters moving in before they could. Plus the programme meets the British couple in Andalucia who tried to rebuild their damaged homes after the foundations were washed away by heavy rainfall, the local eccentric in Southend who built a ranch in his back garden with DIY sheds and log cabins, and a retired couple who bought a bargain villa in Cyprus which turned out to be a crumbling ruin.

No mention in the prog about Orams or stolen land.

£92K for a 3? bed detached villa with pool and they wonder why we call them cheapskates!

The "builder" had obviously run out of cash to finish the development, he' had probably blown it on new cars for all the family, typical "nouveau rich" mentality.

Anyone with half a brain would have discovered that there was "an issue" with land in the north and then questioned the integrity of the developer, they took a risk and lost. Silly sods said they are going to fight it in "court" - they haven't got a clue

When the carpetbaggers ban everyone from their forums who warn about the illegality, they deserve this and much more.

Is the below claim true ? I know is a bit off topic, but the reason I bring it up is, the couple who lost their money in the north to crooked developers featured on the above program said that they will fight their case in the courts, the same courts which was set up by the north "government" who allegedly stole this Jaguar. Talk about throwing good money after bad. When are these idiots who bought stolen GC properties in the north are going to realise that they are ALL going to lose everything sooner or later. It's just so, that some are losing their money much sooner than others who are destined to lose theirs. They have to realise, that, one of their own carpetbaggers, the Orams, brought a lot of displeasure to the "trnc" when they lost their case, which means ALL carpetbaggers are on the "trnc's hit list" to throw them out of the north in one way or the other. All the carpetbaggers have outlived their usefulness to the "trnc" the moment the Orams lost their all important case.

Hi people, For anybody that may have followed the Jaguar story in Cyprus Today (twice) or the Yeniduzen (three times) newspapers and on Turkish TV and Radio this is what is happening now.

For those who are not aware of what happened this is an abridged version: I brought my Jaguar over from UK intending to use it for a year and send it back. It was here for less than 1 month, we were on holiday in Cuba when Customs came and took the car from outside my house. On my return I went to Customs who demanded 11000 STG I told them the car was too old to import and they must give it back as it was a legal car they laughed and told me to go away.I went to my Lawyer??? who told me not to worry he would get it back, he actually did NOTHING (I am sure you all know this firm near the courts and had a similar experience with them, useless) The Prime Minister began using it as his official car, RHA plates,Yenduzen ran the story The Government put same plates as a Merc an still using it (A RINGER)

If true, perhaps they are buying it on the cheap with the GCs money for the GCs. Have you ever thought about that ?

I know you will lose sleep thinking about that from now on. Sorry!

You are being short sighted, aren't you.?

They won't be able to transfer "deeds" to the GCs at the present time with the Racists policies you have in the north, but what about with the BBF in a settlement ?
