I think the electricity offer from the north to the south in the minds of the north somehow would make them feel as if they were now "Sharing Power" with the south!

Looks as though we will accept the offer. It is only fair considering we gave them electricity for years without getting paid for it and when their 'pseudo' power station broke down we also supplied them.

While u are maning about permition came out from the south to import generating sets from the north also both sides chambers of commerce are talking how they import the electric from north to south.............. yes during the north electric collapse south supplied electric to north and north electricity autories paid back.....

There was once a time when the Greek Cypriots used to CUT our electric supply, when they used to look at us as the weak party, the occupied and the unfortunate.

Today, we offer them electricity, our hotels are better, our land in the TRNC is visited by those Greek Cypriots whom are sick and tired of the lies of their politicians, and our "Northern Cyprus" is gaining ground as a form of new "Taiwan" everyday. Today, the border, "cease fire line" to some, is truly used as a border between two very different countries, and our TWO Presidents sit across opposite tables as the "leaders" of their respective peoples seeking an equal Partnership Bi-Communal, Bi-Zonal Federal United Cyprus even though the Greek Cypriots were falsely give the title of the ROC - But without EFFECTIVE Control of the NORTH as the EU puts it. They may have acepted the GC-ROC as representing the ENTIRE island, as how so many GCs love to quote, but in reality we all know the EU's wording of this was very suspect as they also SUPPORT the UN basis of a Cyprus resolution to the Problem! Funny that....particularly the part when the EU stilll supports this Federal United Cyprus Republic process and desperately wants the CYPRUS PROBLEM resolved.

Today, and very soon to be seen in the future, the Greek Cypriots are, and will call for a TWO STATE formula after their soon to witness ECONOMIC Melt Down......That's what happens when you follow a nation like Greece who supposedly are considered one of the founding nations in the field of MATHEMATICS. A Nation whom failed to realise that Billions of Dollars of Spending on pointless luxury goods and military equipment without a natural return from a tiny 10million+ population could never have been paid back into their economy. The Economists in Greece must truly be the most uneducated we've seen anywhere in the world. Britain is laughing at them with such strength that even David Cameron has pointed out in Simple English that they will have Nothing to do with it.

What has all this got to do with the TRNC and Cyprus?......after every storm, particularly like the one seen in Greece and then next in the GC-ROC, the TRNC will prevail as the victor. As they say, they cream always rises to the top.

Soon, it's not only our electricity that you will be buying off of us but your sovereignty as well!!!! I pity those in the south whom still hold a Racist vview of all Turkish Cypriots as it will be their children whom will suffer in years to come. The world has certainly changed, but the Greek Cypriots chose to still hold on to their failed HELLENIC dream of ENOSIS with Poor Greece.
