Hi Mike ... welcome to CF.

There have been a few threads over the years here on CF with photos of Occupied Famagusta, but they'll take some finding.

It's diff U,... people who know people who know people have got in.

The best can suggest go to the nearest village in the Free Areas which is Dherinia where there are a couple of houses with roof terraces where, for a small fee, you can go up and look with binoculars.

The initial shots were taken from the public beach at the northern end then the inside ones are around Cicero Str and Kennedy Ave. After that the person seems to be on the patrol track because it's hard to get any further south without being seen by TR army who permanently occupy some of the hotels. You know to tread warily whenever you see gardens and flowers still tended in the distance. So this could have been a TR or UN person.
