VP, ask yourself what it means to be absorbed by a nation that has an illetarcy rate and a minimum wage of a third world country, no freedom of press, lack of minority rights,lack of union rights, functioning state sponsored death squads, very high levels of domestic violence against women,an remaning fueadal structure in large parts of Turkish society, uncotrolled military spending with no accountability, murderous generals living a life of luxury, a corrupt judicary..the list goes on and on....you can have your roots...dont expect me to come with you.

The above sounds like VP's Christmas wish list for it to become the EU's Primary Law.

Now can you understand how strongly we feel about not wanting to become a minority among GCs? we would rather all the above and much more than capitulate to GC demands.

Why should I go this is my country? you can move south tomorrow if you want what they have to offer...you cannot force me to do the same Im not forcing the GCs to move north.
