Kikapu you totally totally wrong going on paranoid Turkey has no intention of taking control of the south, she has enough on her plate with the north and all her other problems to want to take on GCs south which she does not even recognize.

Be more specific. What are the problems Turkey faces in the north of Cyprus? You said she has "enough on her plate" in the north. What do you mean?

You can do better than that. You said Turkey has "enough on its plate" in the north. From your perspective, what are the key problems Turkey faces in the north of the island? You raised the issue. So what did you mean? Try not to deflect the question this time.

VP finally telling us the truth about his motives all along:

"Whats so bad about being absorbed by your roots? why do you see this as a threat? The alternative is being forced into minority status in a GC state.
When its Turks vs GCs the majority of TCs would choose the Turks every time we have so more in common with them."

In other words Enosis is OK for you, but is it OK for others? By analogy there was nothing wrong with GC Enosis proponents who wanted to be absorbed by "their roots". And guys like you are proving them right, they had the right idea to do it to you before you did it to them, and by extension to the rest of us.

What you have missed is that your enosis dream brought about division and now enosis with Turkey, another important factor is that yours forced us to unite with Greece whereas we are not forcing you you have your own country if you gave us the same situation we would have a solution even today your politics and lack of compromise pushes us closer to Turkey and further away from a solution

VP, ask yourself what it means to be absorbed by a nation that has an illetarcy rate and a minimum wage of a third world country, no freedom of press, lack of minority rights, lack of union rights, functioning state sponsored death squads, very high levels of domestic violence against women,an remaning fueadal structure in large parts of Turkish society, uncotrolled military spending with no accountability, murderous generals living a life of luxury, a corrupt judicary..the list goes on and on....you can have your roots...dont expect me to come with you.
