If I were the RoC, I would ask for the EU arrest warrant regardless what will come of it. If nothing else, just to embarrass Erdogan for acting like a "conqueror".

I'm not so sure he has diplomatic immunity in Cyprus, since his nation does not even recognize the RoC. His diplomatic immunity should not prevent other EU countries from arresting him and shipping him to the RoC. All they will be doing is, just executing the arrest warrant to extradite him to the RoC and not charge him with a crime.
