Deniz gardash,

when the hit is authorised at the highest level, everything is possible.

The pilot probably handed it to him once on board :)

This was on C44 recently.

Did anyone see this in yesterday's "Gunes" TC newspaper? Apparently TC customs at Ercan forced Turkish diplomats to go through security - and caught both of them with a load of jewellery! Looks like Turkey doesn't like the Turkish Cypriots enforcing the law.

>>The "Turkish embassy" has conveyed a letter to the "foreign ministry of TRNC" so that similar behaviours and implementations towards "embassy's staff" not to be repeated in the future. The written statement pointed also out that "diplomats" have the right not to be subjected to control at airports "customs checks" as they are considered as "diplomatic agents", according to the Vienna Convention.

Meanwhile, the paper writes that the "Security Forces Command" (GKK) announced in a written statement yesterday that the so-called police have launched investigations towards the incident with the two diplomats carrying in their luggages a large amount of jewellery.<<

Is Turkey dumping its crooked diplomats in TRNC?

Sener Levent wrote about it many times.
Eric why don't you contact Sener directly?

I'm in touch with both him and his brother, and have met them at their office, but outside communication can be sporadic. The phones are terrible and emails often don't work. They're probably being tampered with.

Eric, do u want to talk with K.Adali daughter....she is my work mate....i can arrange for the meeting. I can say only Sener is the man of the Turkish deep state....

Yes please, Halil abi. That would be great.

Thanks a lot. :)

The plot thickens...

Another person arrested for the attack against Afrika; The gun and the bullets came from Turkey

Turkish Cypriot daily Kibris newspaper (08.07.11) reports that a person named Erdal Polat was arrested yesterday for the armed assault against Afrika newspaper on 3 July, 2011. It is believed that Polat is related with the perpetrator of the attack, Mustafa Yalcin. Polat was arrested on 6 July while trying to leave the occupied area of Cyprus through the illegal Tymbou airport.

Kibris writes that yesterday Yalcin was taken to "court" which ordered him to remain in custody for another eight days.

The "police" said that Yalcin entered into the occupied area of Cyprus through the occupied port of Keryneia on 1 July and brought his gun and his bullets with him.

Turkish Cypriot daily Afrika (08.07.11) refers to the issue under the title: "Another one arrested" and reports that Polat was arrested because it is believed that he helped Yalcin. According to the paper, the two suspects said they did not know each other, but during the "police" investigation, it was established that they had been working at the same bread factory.
