Few weeks ago suggested that a new (combined) Property Commission would likely be formed after a settlement. Don't have to be a genius to see that happening.

So this para from CY Weekly grabbed attention...

..."The two government envoys also met on Thursday with UN experts, to discuss the issue of property. According to diplomatic sources, during the meeting the discussion centered on the creation of an immovable property committee following a comprehensive solution..."

Question remains... what will be its terms of ref? What balance will such a new commission strike between restitution and compensation???

All i know it cannot be the same type of committee as per Anan Plan. With the Anan Plan the committee was actually confiscating properties. I imagine a committee hat will just FACILITATE exchange or sale or renting of properties and setting compensation sums for properties that were used for public projects. I will not accept a committee that will do as it pleases with my properties.It can only be an intermediary nothing else.
